  • If you love your adult children kick them out unless they contribute. When my wife's daughter turned 18 my wife gave her choices: Get a job, go to college, and help with housework, or get out. So she moved out and sponged off from her father and his new wife for a year, then they had enough too.

  • My father grew up in the great depression. He and his friends had to steal pastries on the way to school that were left at the doorstep before the stores opened. They would sit in garbage cans to eat. It was the only food they got till they got home at night.

  • The problem is the side effects. Hormone treatment is a medicinal form of castration. I have friends and relatives who have done this. Hormone treatment basically turns you into an impotent, effeminate male. Removal destroys the ability to ejaculate. Radiation has many terrible side effects.

  • My best friend just did the very same thing. He is 74. He tried to talk me into going the route he did. I have talked to too many men whose lives are ruined by the treatment, and said no way.

  • Why are we supporting these takeovers. It started with Iraq. Iraq had a secular government where women could do pretty much as they please. They had night clubs, etc.

  • Education of the elderly is important. I am only 70, but I am quite knowledgeable about computers and have learned not fall for any of the schemes on line. As far as the phone I just hang up on anyone trying to offer, sell, or talk me into anything.

  • I don't care what your goal is. if you go to another country attempting to subvert their government, whether your cause be noble or not, when you get caught pay the penalty. The US arrests people for doing the very same thing. People are all upset over what's happening in Syria.
