I'm wondering what they will pull at the convention. I can't believe that these Republican candidates can all be this dumb. They must be doing this on purpose; no one could be stupid enough to alienate 51% of the voters. Could they?

Most of you are missing the point. Marriage is becoming unnecessary to most adults. I have married over 600 couples in the last ten years. Most of them had been living together for years and got married to give the kids one name.

They are all mercenaries. The military is voluntary! They make big bucks compared to what is available on the outside for many. They basically kill mostly innocent civilians in a far away land for pay.

What I find the most interesting is the far right loves to call America a Christian Nation. They love their Christian Morality and Values, their Bible, yet when it comes to helping the poor, the indigent, those who have had bad breaks, those troubled, they believe it's every man for himself.

If the US would simply tend to its own affairs, such as creating jobs at home, the trade imbalance, bringing manufacturing back home, our own crumbling infrastructure, and stay the hell out other countries internal affairs things would be infinitely better for everyone.

I don't go to any sports events or movies. if everyone did the same these prim-donas would not be drawing hundreds of millions of dollars while the poor starve and the middle class erodes. People hold the power over everything, but they're too dumb to use it.

It makes the news because it is news. If this pervert will do this to an adult male he would do it to a minor too. There is no place in our schools for those who take sexual advantage of others or those who host drunken parties to act out their sick desires.

The problem is: When government becomes involved taking away children for their weight, it is a very slippery slope to taking them for other reasons. As it is, we have already seen the Constitution trashed over the this thing called "terrorism." There are many other options.
